COUNTER TO BULL:
- `gogo_score` z = +2.67 is the *same signal* as the multi-timeframe "bottom" — citing it as corroboration is circular. One input, two bullets.
- "Stacked oversold across 1h–daily" is a description of a downtrend, not a reversal. Every leg down prints stacked bottoms on the way to lower lows. No confirmation trigger (e.g., reclaim of `ema_low_fast` 2.872) is cited.
- Beta/liquidity "lean long" is regime-conditional. The 34-factor / 0-flip catalog is a backtest artifact; a single regime shift flips high-beta illiquid names from leader to loser. No out-of-sample or drawdown-adjusted evidence given.
- "Polarized, under-owned" sentiment cuts both ways — 25% Strong Sell is not a tailwind, it's a warning. "Hold consensus" is the *absence* of conviction, not a contrarian setup.
- The convert "removes refinancing overhang" assumes the market reads dilution-free debt as bullish. Zero-coupon converts are often read as a signal management needed cash; the +3.79% pop is one session and could be short-covering.
- "+1.5% above intraday low, -4.1% below peak" is noise on a $2.78 stock. That's a ~$0.16 range — no statistical content.
- Bull never addresses the -2.79 drawdown z or the -2.37/-2.20 mean-revert z. Those are the *same factor family* as the gogo signal and they disagree. Which one is right, and why?

COUNTER TO BEAR:
- Composite z = -0.31 and rank 203/252 is *mildly* negative, not disqualifying. "Not in production basket" is a process fact, not a return forecast — baskets lag their inputs by construction.
- `drawdown_3m` z = -2.79 is a *level* factor, not a forward-return factor. Deep drawdowns are exactly where mean-reversion longs get paid; calling it a "short candidate" assumes the regime persists, which is the same assumption the bull is attacked for.
- `mean_revert_20d/60d` negative z means recent returns were *up* relative to trend in some windows — that's not obviously bearish, and the bear doesn't reconcile the sign convention.
- "Below both EMAs" is trivially true for any bottoming name. EMAs are lagging; a bottom by definition forms below them. This is not independent evidence.
- The MarketWatch headline is a low-quality aggregator quote — the bear dismisses bull news as low-quality but leans on the same tier of source for its own case. Inconsistent evidentiary standard.
- Pre-market -1.79% to $2.74 is *inside* the prior session's range and above the cited intraday low. No breakdown, no volume cited.
- Bear never quantifies the convert's actual balance-sheet effect or the earnings numbers — "new management execution risk" is a narrative, not a factor.
- If the factor model is the arbiter, the bear should say what composite z threshold actually predicts negative forward returns here. -0.31 with rank 203/252 is weak conviction, not a short.
